Collecting NiB (New in Box) Beyblades has become a significant pursuit for Beyblade enthusiasts in India, combining the thrill of the hunt with the reward of securing rare items in pristine condition. Whether you’re just starting or are an experienced collector, owning NiB Beyblades can elevate any collection, especially regarding exclusive and limited-edition models.

Most Expensive Plastic Gen Beyblades for Collectors in India

For collectors looking to add iconic items, there are many prized items known for their rarity and aesthetics. There are too many to list here, but we can give you a rough idea of the most well-known ones.

As we mainly specialise in the plastic gen, here are our picks:

  • Black Dranzer F (Kai’s temporary Bey that could steal other Bit Beasts).
  • Black Dragoon GT (part of a full all-black set, finishing which is the holy grail for many Beyblade collectors in India). Extremely rare to find.
  • Rare HMS versions and their different colours, such as Dragoon MSUV and its different recolours. There are many Beyblades from the HMS lineup that have a niche collector base. Some collectors like to get the whole set (all recolours) but of course, that will be a very, very expensive ambition.
  • Special recolours of many Beyblades were only made in a very limited way. For example, the Black Driger G or the Dragoon MF.
  • A lot of Beyblades were produced very little or became rare and coveted due to other reasons. You might get a good deal on these from time to time, but they are still hard to get and often very expensive, such as the Apollon G or Poseidon, which often sells for more than a Black Dranzer F (especially in the secondhand market). And any special recolour of such a rare Beyblade will of course be extremely expensive by Beyblade standards, like the Sunlit Gold version of Apollon G.

Most Popular NiB Beyblades in India

Okay, now that we have looked at the most expensive ones, let’s look at the most common ones too. This list is extremely long, so we are not going to bore you with all the names. You are more than welcome to check out our collection of excellent condition (many NiB) plastic gen Beyblades in India. But what we can do is tell you a few facts:

  • Naturally, the most selling Beyblades are the Bladebreakers items. Most of us had a favourite among Tyson, Kai, Ray, and Max. It only makes sense to feel nostalgic for those Beys and try to collect your favourites. So, everything from Dranzer S and Dragoon G to Draciel V2 and Driger V are super popular Beyblades among Indian collections.
  • After that, a lot of secondary character Beyblades are also very popular, such as Gaia/Strata Dragoon Beys used by Daichi, the Beys from the American PPB Team in the anime (such as Trypio or Rock Bison), and several other teams.
  • Apart from all the above, some Beyblades are mainly popular because of their design. They might or might not belong to secondary characters in the anime that were an instrumental part of the story. For example, Gabriel and Uriel look fantastic and were used by two important characters. But in comparison, the screen time of both King and Queen (the owners of these Beys) was much smaller compared to, let’s say, Dunga’s Voltaic/Vortex Ape. Voltaic Ape was an important part of a long arc in the VForce anime.
  • Some of these secondary characters’ Beyblades can be more expensive too, such as Zeus (used by Brooklyn in G-Revolution, unequivocally the best villain in the entire Plastic Gen series).

Why NiB Beyblades Are a Collector’s Treasure

NiB Beyblades holds a special place in the world of Beyblade collecting. Representing new-in-box condition, these models are untouched and come in their original packaging, making them particularly valuable to collectors. The rarity and mint condition of NiB Beyblades, especially older or limited-edition models, make them highly sought after, as finding authentic, unused items can be challenging. For collectors, securing these pristine models enhances both the historical and aesthetic value of a collection.

Top Places to Buy NiB Beyblades in India

For collectors in India, finding reputable sources for NiB Beyblades is essential. The Beyblade Art Shop is a trusted choice. It is known for its wide selection of Takara Tomy, Hasbro, and Funskool products, along with the added benefit of free pan-India shipping and detailed listings that provide collectors with essential information. Alternatively, online collector groups have become popular places for enthusiasts to trade or purchase NiB Beyblades, with some dedicated communities offering rare finds while ensuring product authenticity. Specialty hobby shops and specific online marketplaces also periodically offer NiB Beyblades, although it’s important to carefully verify seller reviews and product details to guarantee a genuine purchase.

Tips for Identifying Authentic and Rare NiB Beyblades

As the demand for rare NiB beyblades increases, identifying genuine models has become more critical. Authentic Beyblades from brands like Takara Tomy often feature specific branding, holographic stickers, and unique codes that help verify their authenticity. Additionally, for those who seek limited editions or special releases, researching distinct packaging or colouration can aid in spotting truly exclusive items. Awareness of these details can prevent collectors from inadvertently purchasing replicas or incomplete models.

Caring for and Displaying Your NiB Beyblade Collection

Maintaining the value and visual appeal of a NiB Beyblade collection requires proper care and storage. To preserve the original packaging, storing Beyblades in cool, dry areas prevents wear from humidity or sun exposure. Collectors can also display their NiB Beyblades using custom cases or shelves designed to showcase the packaging while keeping it intact, allowing them to appreciate their collection’s aesthetics without unboxing. Proper care enhances both the display and the investment value of these beloved items, ensuring that each Beyblade retains its collector’s charm for years to come.
