The Takara Tomy A-42 Metal Dranzer is an iconic Attack/Stamina-type Beyblade released in December 2001 under the Magnacore System (Beyblade V-Force). It is highly sought after for its rare, die-cast metal attack ring and premium SG Bearing Base. Unlike most standard tops, Metal Dranzer utilizes a heavy metal attack ring that adds massive weight, allowing it to easily withstand hits from pure attack types while outlasting defense and stamina types. In the anime, it is famously used by the character Jin of the Gale. Because of its premium and classic early-generation mechanics, it is one of the most legendary tops of the original Bakuten Shoot (Plastic Gen) era. Original new-in-box (NIB) Japanese releases can be quite difficult to find, often appealing heavily to vintage collectors.
